Don't Bother Reading ThisOkay, don't say I didn't warn you!I probably won't be updating this for a few days, as I'll be away more than I'm home the next few days. This afternoon Josh and I are going up to Clearwater Lake to spend some time with the Kingfield relations. Then tomorrow morning the youth group heads out bright and early (well, 8:00, if you can call that early! ) for Acadia National Park. We'll be spending Friday and Saturday there. I really want to hike Cadillac, but I'm pretty sure we won't be doing that...we'll probably drive up it instead. We'll spend most of Saturday at Sand Beach, with an excursion to Thunder Hole.Sunday we've got the church picnic at the Eastman's camp, and from there (if the weather is good) I'll be heading up to Kingfield and Monday morning climb Avery Peak (part of the Bigelow Mountain Range...the same range of mountains as Cranberry Peak, which I wrote up earlier this summer. So, all in all, it'll be quite a fun weekend. When it's all done, I'll probably have some pictures to post. ![]() Meanwhile, some of you might get a kick out this site, which one of the teens in the youth group sent me last night. It's a puzzle, very similar to something I had thought about doing on The Problem Site, but I guess I won't bother now! I got through the first six puzzle pages, but I don't think I'm going to spend much more time on it...I'll end up getting way too addicted to it! ![]() For my fellow researchers, just so you know, sometime next week I'll be sending you a document to read, review and confirm your verification of the research. By the way, Brian found an interesting article on Google, which contains valuable information for all webmasters. I found out recently that a good friend is "expecting", which is very exciting, but there may be some complications... And for anyone who cares, my nephew has just started his own blog: ENC College Life. Well, I guess that's all for now...have a great weekend, everyone! His Hands For Haiti is having some problems; their web designer had a computer crash, and is out of commission for awhile, so they've asked me to do some updates for them. Mainly, it's just tweaking some text and adding in some pictures...here's the page I'm working on for them: Graduation Ceremony In Haiti On Aug 25, 2005 Laura wrote: Aw Doug, you're not boring! So Josh is going to ENC? That's cool! I've been thinking about 're-activating' my application there (and to some other Christian schools) when I apply to other schools this fall, because I haven't entirely ruled out private school - but we'll see. Doug Replied: yep...Josh leaves on Saturday for ENC. And I'm glad to know I'm not boring! ![]()
