Joy To The WorldMerry Christmas everyone! I got an email from Trent a couple days ago giving greetings from his "flu infested household". I didn't realize it was possible to transmit such things by email, but...I ain't feeling so good this morning. This just isn't a good time of the year to be feeling unwell. I think it's just a cold I've got...last night I thought I had a fever, but then I realized I was cold because I had the thermostat turned down. ![]() I was supposed to get together with Arnold and Josh to practice the song we're supposed to be singing tomorrow morning at church. What with one thing and another, we haven't been able to get together to practice this week (we've canceled practice sessions three times out of three), but I don't think it matters, because I don't think I'll have a voice to sing tomorrow anyway. ![]() But, for anyone who is curious, here's what we were planning to sing...it's "Joy To The World", only with a little bit of a twist to it. Joy To The World (Windows Media Format: 3.8MB) Joy to the world, the Lord is come Let earth receive her King Let every heart prepare Him room And heaven and nature sing Joy to the world, the Lord is come Let earth receive her King Let every heart prepare Him room And heaven and nature sing Joy to the earth the Savior reigns Let men their songs employ While fields and floods, rocks hills and plains Repeat the sounding joy Joy to the world, the Lord is come Let earth receive her King Let every heart prepare Him room And heaven and nature sing Joy, joy to the world Joy, joy the Lord is come Joy, joy the heavens ring Joy, joy all nature sings No more let sin and sorrows grow Nor thorns infest the ground He comes to make His blessings flow Far as the curse is found Joy to the world, the Lord is come Let earth receive her King Let every heart prepare Him room And heaven and nature sing He rules the world with truth and grace And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness And wonders of His love Joy to the world, the Lord is come Let earth receive her King Let every heart prepare Him room And heaven and nature sing Posted On Dec 24, 2005 at 6:48 AM
