Taber's Mini Golf and Ice CreamLast night we took the youth group down to Taber's Mini Golf in Auburn, Maine. Taber's is a place the youth group went to back when I was in high school, but I don't remember ever going back there since then. So I decided it was time we went back.Turned out they offer a very nice deal for groups...for $3.50 you get one round of Mini Golf (18 holes) and an ice cream. And...if you have time, you can go back for a second round for just one dollar. We didn't have time for that. We had trouble getting started, because we were short on transportation...the church van was in the shop for some repairs, and a couple of our youth leaders weren't able to come, so we only had three cars and a pickup to transport 22 people. Fortunately, Arnold and Debbie (aka schwarz and chuva) and my dad (aka Mr Physics) came to our rescue by coming with us and transporting teens. Many thanks! On the way back to South Paris, Pete was asking me about my different websites I run, and I was trying to remember them all, I thought I'd post a list here: Virtu Software - Corporate, Educational, and Church Software Solutions Doug's Online Playground Doug's Anti Spam Log Quote Puzzler Articles For Educators The Problem Site My Ministry Site Ask Doug Project Hymnbook Well there you go. I think that's all of them. We got back to the church, and I was debating with myself about whether I was going to come back to Cape Elizabeth then, or wait until morning. Then, one of our boys who lives in Oxford needed a ride home, so I decided, since I was driving to Oxford anyway, I might as well keep right on going. So here I am, back in Cape. Today I'm going to work on adding a "Frequently Asked Questions" feature to my Quote Puzzler site, so those of you who are testing that site for me, feel free to email me questions you think should be on that page! I did forget it...and that reminds me of another one I'd forgotten. Pretty sad when I can't even remember what websites I own. ![]()
