Beauty Salons a Cut Above The Rest?
Starting a Beauty Salon or Barber Shop...do you have what it takes? The first requirement is that you have a sense of humor. Or, if failing in that test, you must at least have an appreciation for puns (one could argue that an appreciation for puns does not indicate a true sense of humor
).Anyway, why do I say you have to have an appreciation for puns in order to start your own Beauty Salon or Barber Shop? As I drive around the State of Maine I'm always noticing the names of Beauty Salons and Barber Shops...maybe you've noticed them too? An extraordinary number of shop names contain puns...some puns on the word "cut" or "cutting", some on the word "hair", some on the word "shear", and many many more.
So, to help you pick the place that's just right for you, here's a list of Beauty Salons and/or Barber Shops right here in the State of Maine that have proven their ability to make a pun. Whether they can cut hair, do nails, or anything else, that may be in question, but at least we know they are a cut above the rest when it comes to naming their hairy business! Some of the puns are stretching it a bit, but hey, not every pun is cut 'n dried, ya know?
