Merry Christmas
MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!Okay, I'm a day late. Still, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
A few days before Christmas I brought my nephew Daniel over to my recording studio, and we recorded several Christmas songs so he could give a Christmas CD to his friends and family.
I thought I'd post one of the songs here - hope you enjoy it!
Let It Snow
I got several books I wanted for Christmas...and spent the entire afternoon/evening reading one of them.
And I'm probably going to go through the others pretty quickly, because I have a cold, and really don't feel like doing much of anything...but I can always read.

Hmmm...that's one book I haven't read yet. But, while we're on the subject of books, here's a great quote from Ah, But Your Land Is Beautiful.
The character is speaking of heaven ("up there") and standing before God ("the Big Judge")
"When I go up there, which is my intention, the Big Judge will say to me, Where are your wounds? If if I say I haven't any, he will say, Was there nothing to fight for? I couldn't face that question."

Doug Replied: quick review: very good, but certainly not up to OSC standards...I dunno, the last couple books he's written haven't seemed to me to have the same kind of unforgettable characters that most of his books have.
I'll loan you the book next time you have breakfast.
