Tomorrow I'm preaching in Carthage, and I was looking for a particular quote about Carthage by Augustine... ...and I haven't found the quote I was looking for, but I found this one instead... I came to Carthage, and all around me in my ears were the sizzling and frying of unholy loves. And how true that often is...as much today as it was 1600 years ago. People are more in love with "love" than they are with people.
