Games, Flash Animation, and More

First, I thought I'd share this stupid flash animation I created for Jonathan on his birthday.

I do dumb stuff like that from time to time so people will say "Hmm, I'm glad Doug forgot to send me a birthday card this year."

I've been doing a lot of modifications on Quote Puzzler lately - the site is now up to 7 daily games. 3 are free, 3 are for subscribers only, and 1 is open to anyone, but with some features disabled to non-subscribers. There's also a new community forum, which replaces the old (and cheesy) discussion forum.

I'm posting modifications at a much faster rate than I really want to, but I had a lot of things I wanted to get wrapped up before I head off for camps and VBSs.

There are a couple counties in Maryland that are probably going to hire me to write math problems for their math competitions. 99 math problems per year. Assuming I get the contract on that, I'll be spending some time working on those while I'm out at Camp Fairhaven. Actually, I've already started working on them - even if I don't get the contract, I'll eventually use those problems for other meets.

Hmm...what else is new? Oh, the youth group worked on stuff for Vacation Bible School last night. Some worked on music, some worked on crafts, and some worked on planning games.

And...I have a new sound man. Ben Bailey has agreed to travel with me during the coming year. That'll be a lot of fun...I'll just need to remind him to shut off his cell phone during the services.

Day after tomorrow I start house-sitting for my folks, and then after two weeks of that I'm off to Camp Good News! I guess summer is finally here...I don't know if I'm ready for it yet!

Doug Replied: Yes, the button is clickable.

It takes me about 8 seconds to click it.
