Daily Puzzles With High Score ListsRecently I discovered some blogs that have, just about every day, a report of the bloggers' scores on the Daily Puzzles at The Problem Site. That got me thinking, one of the reasons these bloggers post these scores is because it's fun to compare how you did with others. That is, after all, one of the most addictive parts of Quote Puzzler! As I thought about that, I thought it's a pity that there isn't a high score system in place for the daily puzzles (like there is for the Trio Match Game). So I toyed with the idea of adding a high score list to the daily puzzles at The Problem Site, but then I had a better idea. A high score list on a Daily Puzzle really needs to have a login system. And Quote Puzzler already has a login system. So I'm starting to create a new section at Quote Puzzler. These games will be free (just like they are at The Problem Site), but they'll require that the players create a membership account before accessing them. Then I can use the same high score code that I use for the Quote Puzzles! So, here are the first two of the Daily Puzzles at Quote Puzzler: In And Out Puzzle - Like Hangman, but with a twist! My Secret Word - Just like on The Problem Site. By the way...many thanks to Trent for his game suggestion which led to the "In And Out" game - I know that my version doesn't quite match what you described, but I think it works pretty well! York (Maine) Middle School website has a page that refers to my One To Ten game as: "The Funnest Math Game Ever!" ![]()
