Join The Chorus - Everything cries out Glory!
There are a couple interesting verses of Scripture that came together in my mind this summer, along with some time alone sitting on the rocks at Acadia National Park.Psalm 29:9 says that "in His temple everything says 'Glory!'"
Carrying along with that idea, when Jesus was entering Jerusalem, and the Pharisees asked him to tell his disciples "Shut up", Jesus replied (Luke 19:40) "I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out."
Interesting...there's no if for all of creation; the oceans, the mountains, the earthquakes and lightning, the deer of the woods, and everything of God's temple all cry out GLORY! to God.
But for the human race, there is an IF. Is it possible that we alone have a choice of whether our lives, our voices, our actions, our very existence, will cry out GLORY!?
And along with that question...do we spend enough time listening to the voice of creation calling out God's glory?

And when someday this mortal life is o'er
I'll stand before my Savior and King
I'll sing with all the saints who've gone before
