Well, for those who thought that Biblical Illuminations was never going to get updated again, you were wrong.
A while back I moved Biblical Illuminations to a new server, and in the process, never updated the code that let me add new items to the site. So, I've been stalling on adding anything new, because I needed to update the administrative code first. I finally got that done this morning. So, here's something new:

In other news, everyone and their brother is getting their accounts hacked on MySpace. Is it just that people are using weak passwords? Or maybe a security hole in MySapce itself? All things considered, I suspect it's a combination.
But, while we're on the subject of weak passwords: Strong Passwords, Weak Passwords
There is another side to security that we don't often think about - we think about keeping our own information secure, but we don't often think about private conversations by email/messaging systems with friends. What happens if your friend gets hacked? If your friend's online information gets hacked, and you've had private conversations, shared secure information online, then you've been hacked too!
Something to keep in mind.
And while still on the subject of MySpace, I'm both disgusted and amused by the advertisements which show up on MySpace. One of the most revolting I've seen is an advertisement which was actually a Flash Game, and the object of the game was to "Kill Stewie's Mother"
What is wrong with people?
I thought I'd post this advertisement which crops up on MySpace from time to time:
Of course, what's going on here is, the ad server is able to deduce from server variables where my ISP is located, and it drops the town name into the advertisement.
What I want to know is, are those three girls from North Turner, or do people from other parts of the country see them listed as being from Harrisburg, or Olympia, or Little Rock?
And if that's the case, couldn't these people be sued for false advertising?
Anyway, just out of curiosity, I decided to run a search on this foolish site, to see if these girls really are from North Turner. Would you like to see what I got for a result when I searched for profiles in North Turner?
Kinda makes you wonder how many people actually live in North Turner, doesn't it?
