The Dragon Of Enlightenment...
Welcome to The Dragon Of Enlightenment. This is a fantasy short story I
wrote with a very specific purpose in mind. It was intended to be somewhat
tongue-in-cheek, but at the same time provide something to make the reader
pause for thought.
The story has four chapters, all of them short, so it shouldn't take you long to
read it. Just click on the link to 'Chapter One', and then follow the links through
to the end. When you're done, you can click the "Author Comments" link to read some of
my thoughts about the story, and the reasons for writing it.
Some authors defiantly refuse to "explain" their work, saying it should stand
on its own merit without further explanation. I agree with that principle, but
at the same time, I'm not foolish enough to think my writing is so clear
that everyone will understand exactly what I'm driving at. I hope you will
understand, but in case you don't, I'll follow up the story by a short
commentary for your amusement/edification.

In which the Dragon Of Enlightenment Introduces Himself.
