An Old Quote About An Eternal God
As a follow up to this great posting I think these two quotes from a hero of the early church would be appropriate.Athanasius was used by the Lord to stand strong on (not invent) the doctrine of the Deity of the Lord Jesus. He said:

| ''Those who maintain 'There was a time when the Son was not' rob God of his Word, like plunderers.'' |
Quote:
| Jesus whom I know as my Redeemer cannot be less than God. |
From the Apostles up until today, God has always had those who have acknowledged Who He is in His triune existence. No "well-written" blasphemy will ever negate the Truth of His Word. The DaVinci Code book will appeal to a small minority in the short term. Before long you will see copies in bargain bins. But the Word of God will "abide forever".
